Visitors to Competa are in for a treat this Easter

This Easter (11th and 12th April) the town of Competa comes alive with stalls provided by artists and craftspeople who live in the area. Studios and homes will be throw their doors open and provide maps to help visitors find their way around this white mountain village.

Visitors to the Competa area can expect to find paintings in oil, pastel, watercolours and acrylic. The art doesn’t just stop at canvas as visitors will also find sculptures, creative items, upholstery, textiles and hand sewn wall hangings that have been years in the making.

Remember NOT to pack a pack lunch for the day, as Competa has some amazing restaurants and tapas bars where one can indulge in the delicious local dishes.

Competa is located on the N340, close to Algorobbo and Torrox.
