Busy Easter signals great Summer on the Costa del Sol

We've had reports that this Easter is pretty busy on the Costa del
Sol, which usually signals that a busy summer is ahead.

Car hire companies based at Malaga airport have all reported an
increase on the previous two years and some extending that comment to
say "it's the busiest we've been since 2007!"

Hopefully this means the things are picking up for the sunny resort of
the Costa del Sol and holiday villa owners.

Spanish Festivals and Fiestas in April

The month of April sees the festival of the Moros y Cristianos in Alcoy, Alicante. This is where you'll see mock battles between Moors and Christians. Also, two weeks after Easter it's Spain's biggest annual party at the Seville April Fair (La Feria de Abril). A mass pilgrimage to a shrine of the Virgin also takes place in Andalucia, called the Romería de Andújar.
