Holiday makers to Javea can now enjoy Iceland

Holiday makers to Javea can now enjoy Iceland

Earlier this month, supermarket Iceland opened it’s doors to the holiday makers and residents of Javea. Iceland’s parent company already has six stores in Spain making this it’s seventh. Shoppers queued for the opening of the store and appeared not to be disappointed by the range of products. The shop stocks over 10,000 lines with many well know brands from the UK.

Manager, David Doolan said he was very pleased with the first week of trading, adding that a constant stream of shoppers was encouraging.

For the town of Javea, 50 new jobs have been created with 30 of them full-time and 20 part-time.

For holiday visitors staying in self catering accommodation in Javea this new store is great news and an addition to the other great supermakers and stores in and around the Javea area.
