New apartments on the Costa del Sol are not selling

Holiday villas in Spain situated in some of the best tourist hotspot coastal resorts have been hardest hit by the downturn in the property market. Apartment developments have also been hit hard as demand a

New developments on some parts of the Spanish Mediterranean coast now take an average of 4 years to sell, compared with just 'a few days' at the height of the property boom in 2005.

It is thought that over half of the new apartments on the Costa del Sol are sitting unsold.
