September Fiestas in a Spanish Villa or Apartment holiday

If you have already booked your villa in Spain for September this year, or are still thinking about a last minute holiday to Spain, then don't forget to try and take in some of the local traditions by way of a Spanish Festival.

The town of Jerez de la Frontera opens it's gates on the first Saturday of September for the harvest of it's wine with the Jerez sherry festival. The festival in Jerez, or Fiestas de Otoño as it is known locally, is a three week celebration and open to locals and visitors to the area. Those staying in a holiday rental in Jerez de la Frontera are sure to have a wonderful time.

For wine lovers, the Fiesta de San Mateo is located in the Rioja wine region.
Catalunya celebrates Cava week during September in Spain, a festival dedicated to the fine Catalan version of champagne.

If you are staying in an apartment or villa in Northern Spain, why not visit the Festes de la Merce near the city of Barcelona.

If you like Paella, then head to the town of Sueca near Valencia as the Fiesta del Arroz gets underway.

The town of Ronda celebrates during the first week of September as it sees the 'Feria Goyesca de Pedro Romero'. Everyone in the town and local matadors dress in 18th century costumes and enjoy bullfighting all weekend.

Holiday villa owners turn to Villa-Holiday.co.uk for their bookings

Villa Holiday is pleased to announce that we have now reached 3,000 holiday property adverts on the Villa Holiday website. Villa Holiday CEO, Alexa Brown says, "Our existing owners are VERY pleased with our service and we're happy that they recommend us to friends and family and it's a true testament to the team here who work so hard to ensure we provide a personal service to everyone. Between the small team here, we know each and everyone of our owners and can look after their individual needs and requirements.

Unfortunately these days there are so many larger organisations that forget who their customers are, however we do not. Our internal motto it "Big enough to cope, Small enough to care"." In times of recession people look to make savings and we're finding that many of our existing holiday apartment and villa owners are stopping their other advertising and concentrating their efforts on their advert with us - Here's what one of our owners said: "I’ve actually cancelled some other adverts which are so expensive and not generating the interest that your site does" - This and more great testimonials can be found here.

If you have a holiday home and are interested in advertising a villa or apartment with us, please, please get in touch, we're always happy to hear from new folk.

Big enough to cope.....Small enough to care - Villa Holiday, advertising holiday rentals for owners since 2001.

Majorca - Business as usual for holiday villa owners

Tourists visiting the island of Majorca have been told to stay alert
although the alert applies to mainland Spain as well as the islands.

Many tourists already booked to stay in holiday villas in Majorca have
said that they will not change their plans "Spain and the Balearic
islands must be one of the safest places to visit while they are on
high alert" said Robert Box, who has planned to visit Spain this
summer with his family.

If you are visiting Spain or it's islands and are concerned in anyway,
please contact the tourism website for further information and advice.
